If you find yourself without internet it is worth power cycling the equipment as a way of getting it reconnected. You can reboot your router by simply unplugging the power cable off the back of the router, leaving it for about a minute and then plugging it back into power. This will renew the routers connection to the internet and will often get things going again.
If rebooting the router did not get things working again, you can try rebooting the outdoor radio equipment. Sometimes the outdoor equipment loses contact with the tower and may leave you without internet. You can reboot the radio by removing power to the POE inside the house. Do this by following the cable in the back of the router in the WAN/Internet port (Port 1 on routerboard) down to the other end where it will plug into a small black box. This black box is the POE and it supplies power to the equipment outside. The POE will have its own power cable, unplug the power cable from power for approximately 5 minutes before plugging it back in.
It is good practice to make sure all necessary connections are secure as well. Check out or guide to verifying cables.
If the above steps do not get you connected again, verify that there is power where the devices (POE and router) plug in and contact us so we can get it fixed!
